Very good corrosion resistance with respect to organic substances, oxidating solutions, foodstuff, sterilizing solutions. Good resistance with respect to atmospheric corrosion and dyes. Subjected to pitting and crevice corrosion in presence of hot chloride solutions and to stress corrosion when temperature exceeds 60 ºC. Not resistant to sulfuric acid solutions.
Specific requests needed for magnetic balls or not magnetic balls, high precision grades G10 – G80 and values inbetween and hardness 100 – 250 HV annealed (Standard is cold worked HRC 20-39).
